Ionic nutrient substrate ZION (ZION) was developed jointly with the Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus for growing plants on any soil using iontoponics technology*.

*Polymer-based ionic substrates created earlier as part of the Soviet space program are being actively used for growing plants on space shuttles, submarines, arctic stations and in other extreme conditions. Currently, iontoponics technology and ionic substrates have been adapted for the needs of modern agriculture.
